Immersed in the plot of the Passion

An immersive project by the International Centre for Studies on the Shroud and the exOphir Vocal Ensemble.

 

An artistic and spiritual event offering a multisensory experience, in which art, music and faith intertwine in a single narrative: that of the Passion and the Resurrection.

Through a journey engaging sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch, visitors become pilgrims, invited to walk through the various “textures” of the Paschal Mystery, guided by forms of expression that over the centuries have interpreted its power and mystery.

The musical backdrop, provided by the vocal ensemble exOphir, offers a sonic journey through Holy Week, from Palm Sunday to the Resurrection, with a polyphonic repertoire that captures the full spiritual complexity of those days.

Six spaces host six artistic exhibitions, expressed in six different forms and presented in two time periods (ancient and contemporary). Painting, word, fabric, scent, music and matter become tools for meditation.
