The Shroud is a linen sheet woven in a herringbone pattern, which bears the imprint of the image of a man's corpse. According to tradition, it is the Cloth mentioned in the Gospels that wrapped the body of Jesus.

Its goal is to spread knowledge of the Shroud throughout the world. The International Center for Shroud Studies coordinates multidisciplinary studies on the Cloth.
The Shroud Museum in Turin is a place permanently dedicated, even outside of periodic exhibitions, to the devotion, dissemination and study of the Holy Shroud.
