MUSEUM INFORMATION

The Museum of the Holy Shroud is located in Turin at Via San Domenico 28

and is about a ten-minute walk from the Cathedral.

​

The museum tour is marked by signs in English and Italian for each display case. To help visitors find their way around, brochures in Italian and English are also available at the entrance desk. A guide is available via QR Code for smartphones.

Visiting hours:

Every day, Monday to Sunday, from 3pm to 6pm (last admission one hour before closing time).

EXCEPTIONS during the 2025 Christmas period:

  • Saturdays 6, 13, 20 and 27 December: special opening hours 10am-1pm

  • 24 December: early closing at 5pm

  • 25 December: closed

  • 31 December: early closing at 5:00 p.m.

  • 1 January 2026: closed

  • Reduced €6.00

  • Children aged 6 to 12 €3.00

The Museum of the Holy Shroud is part of the museum circuit participating in the Museum Subscription Card scheme.

 

Books and informative material on the Holy Shroud can be purchased at the Museum's bookshop.

 

The scientific direction of the Museum is entrusted to Prof. Nello Balossino.
